No, I'm not talking about his election results, I'm talking about his online fan-base...and the nature of every "next big thing." 
When anything gets too popular, it runs a risk of simply not being popular anymore. This is how popularity works. Something can't be "cool" if everyone likes it, something can only be "cool" when its new and freshly discovered. At some point, the phenomenon reaches a certain level of absurdity in its quest to reach the lowest common denominator...and from then, its usually never good. We'll see if Obama's popularity holds strong at the national level, but he's stepped in a mess regarding some of his trade rhetoric and Hillary's increasingly nasty attack campaign. Of course, Obama still has a lead - but Hillary has all of her dirty tricks and it could just be enough to put Obama well, over the shark.
